THE WINERY
It is formed by seven partners, who are owners of vineyards in the territory of Randazzo, on the northern slope of Etna, and in S. Alfio, on the eastern slope, at an altitude of between 700 and 800 meters above sea level. They joined their forces and set up the winery at the beginning of 2004, bottling wines made from grapes from their own vineyards: Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Carricante, Catarratto, all which are Etna native grape varieties.
Seven partners, seven wineries, seven human, professional, and productive stories, all different but joined together in one single project with one common denominator: "their passion and love for vineyards and wines."
Their passion for winemaking and the love for their own land, handed down from generation to generation, form the ideal and entrepreneurial connection that links together the partners of Terre dell'Etna, the winery that has blended together tradition and innovation to produce wines of excellent quality that contain all of the perfume and flavor of the land of Etna.
The winery’s logo evokes typical and characteristic Sicilian traditions: the CART, witness of the hard but passionate work of its farmers and also the means of transporting the wine produced on the volcano’s slopes to the port of Riposto and the CLUSTER evoking the richness of the vineyards and grape vines growing on the slopes of Etna, volcanic soils, well suited for growing the Nerello Mascalese grapes and other native varieties that in this territory attain their highest expression.
